Caregivers now have the ability to capture
both scheduled and un-scheduled care as it is provided and
to
automatically document the actual time
they spend providing that care to their residents.
The PDA displays the days care tasks by resident
and caregiver. Using the wireless PDA, the caregiver starts the task timer when
beginning a task and then stops the timer when the task is completed.
Caregivers can even add care notes about the task and resident on the PDA.
Entries are then electronically sent to the Move-N data center and the resident records are
automatically updated.
Management reports
display the actual care delivery time versus the care time budgeted in the resident assessment. Care times exceeding the care plan budget indicate
revenues lost or...
cost creep!
